Popular costal Karnataka breakfast dish. Very tasty and easy to make.
Ingredients
- Rice (soaked overnight) – 2 cups
- Coconut (Grated) – 1 cup
- Salt – 1 tsp
- Oil – 1 tbsp
- Water – 2 cups
Cooking Steps:
- Grind soaked Rice and grated Coconut with some water
- Add salt and add 2 cups water to get thin watery consistency
- Pour the dose batter on a hot tawa
- Cover and cook for a minute
- Do not cook on the other side
- Serve hot with side like Mango Seekarni (Rasayana) or chutney
